What happens when you plant a Banana in the Compost? In this video, I finally made the leap and decided to plant my Dwarf Banana in the Compost pit. It has been root bound in this bucket for 1 year to the day. Living in a rental property is hard when you are a Gardener. That is why I choose Container Gardening. But some of my plants will take forever to fruit unless I put them in the ground. I chose the compost pit as it is high in nutrients. I recently also planted one of my Papaya in there as well. As you can see behind and just on the edge of the compost is a Guava and two Papaya. They are the same age as the Papaya in the Compost pit. The size difference is huge.
