Small backyard tropical garden ideas – new DIY flower-plant bed

July 3, 2018 – Backyard garden escape in Suburbia. Not a lot of space in my fenced in backyard, but have made some lovely improvements to the landscape. In this video, spent the last several days getting muddy and digging up topsoil and sod…landscaping! Goal was to clean up around the Globe Willow tree and plant some tropicals. Well, one thing led to another and I went overboard like a sunburned deranged gopher. First, I made TOO SMALL…so, I expanded it. And then the edging looked horrible..so, I went with another type. Lastly, I absolutely HAD to get a new dump cart…man, what a back saver. It is plastic (with plastic wheels), but, I put FIVE bags of 40 lbs topsoil in it and it did great. Have a safe 4th of July.
