Vegetable Garden
See More Garden Goodies: http://www.WisconsinGarden.com – – – Here’s an update on part of our June vegetable garden. This year we planted 41 tomato plants. The north raised beds contain mostly garlic, several extra tomato plants, peppers, egg plant, and a variety of butternut, patty-pan, zucchini, and zephelin delacata squash. Today we will be removing garlic scapes. The original garden is on the SE corner of our property where we’ve planted a wide variety of tomatoes, including our favorite ‘TomatoBerry’ cherry tomatoes and some dinosaur kale. We will be adding more vegetables seeds shortly in our raised Liberty garden that we finished last 4th of July. Because of all the major projects we’ve undertaken this year, and all the rain, it’s taken valuable time away from clearing weeds, which in itself, will be an other huge project we must address. So stay tuned.
