Flower Garden
Please visit us at: http://botanyboy.org/ Each June Hakozaki Shrine’s hydrangea garden explodes into flower. This shrine’s garden is said to have around 100 different varieties and over 3500 plants in all. Most are derived from the large leaf hydrangea, H. macrophylla, a native of Japan. Their colorful “mop head” clusters of flowers are known world wide, but reach their apex here in their native homeland. Please enjoy this tour of the garden.
