Vegetable Garden
It’s July, and this is our first vegetable garden update and tour for the month. We garden in zone 6b, and like many people in the Midwest, we got off to a slow start, but the garden has really taken off with some sunshine and warmth. We’ve got lots of tomatoes on our plants, and the peppers are all blooming and some have good numbers of peppers already. The corn is about 8 feet tall, and we have a couple of sunflowers that are approaching 10 feet tall. Our sweet potatoes are making the garden look a little bit like a jungle, now that they are sprawling all over the ground. I’m really happy with where we are in the garden, considering where we started. Be sure to let us know how your garden is doing.
