In this video from my patch of paradise in northern N.S.W, Australia, I demonstrate how I make the plant food, or free organic home made fertilizer which I use on my garden here up on the hill to encourage the Soil Food Web to do the job of feeding my plants…my happy healthy vegetables, full of nutrition.
Subscribers…thank YOU for your encouragement, tips and support. You are true Earthlings x. I hope you are inspired by my videos, and share the passion and enthusiasm I have for our connection with the Earth.
In the next video, I´ll show how I get a garden bed ready for planting, and how and what I plant to confuse the bugs. I call the soil “the stomach for my vegetables”, so I make the beds full of food for my seeds and seedlings to power and produce highly nutritional ORGANIC food.
Most importantly of ALL – I am grateful and show my true and deepest respect and appreciation for every living organism that has ever been on Earth before me. Without all of them, plant, animal and family ancestors, I would not be here today. All the knowledge from before me, all the soil bacteria – have made me who I am today (and the sun).
With your support, The Weedy Garden can continue after lockdown to make add free videos that inspire people all over the world to reconnect to nature and start a garden of food of their own.

Thanks to master of microscopy Wim Van Egmond https://www.wimvanegmond.com/ for the epic microscopic footage of the bacteria, rotifer and the amoeba wandering up the screen in this episode.
BIG Thanks also to my good mate and school friend Daniel Raffaele and his wife Pauline for helping me film the lady bug and supporting sooo much from their camper van which is parked up by the garden sometimes 🙂
